Trying a new recipe, looking for opinions...

Muddy said I should post this here instead...even though I doubt many of the gentlemen on the forum foray over here...
 
 
I am trying out a variation on a baked enchilada dish.  I am going to use pulled BBQ chicken for the filling and my regular enchilada recipe calls for a combination of red enchilada sauce and tomato sauce, and the whole thing is smothered in cheddar-jack cheese.
 
I am wondering if it would be too much BBQ flavor to make the sauce a BBQ, tomato sauce combo?  I make these 10 to a pan and I would hate to have it turn out wrong either way...
 
 
I have to get started on them as when hubby gets home, we're going appliance shopping...
 
I know you guys have got to love to eat or maybe even are accomplished cooks and chefs...

Don't ever expect me to come up with any suggestions on Mexican food - still haven't acquired a taste for it after all these years!
 
Now if you want my steak and kidney pie recipe.............................oh never mind!

I know muddy...I couldn't get the whole thing to copy and paste, so I just copied my portion and deleted from the other board...

Okay, so I consulted my culinary co-hort, Thing 2 and we decided to go w/the traditional spicy sauce.  He said it reminded him of the chipotle BBQ Doritos and Honey BBQ Frito twists he loves...
 
So, I've got them built and ready to bake for dinner...we'll see how they turn out...
