Japan disaster brings end of nuclear power industry

How many more of these things should we build...considering that ALL OF THEM eventually age and must be handled as a big pile of dangerous nuclear waste for CENTURIES after the end of their useful life at enormous costs that are only now becomming apparent - try thinking in terms of spending two hundred times the value of the electricity produced by each plant over its lifetime on safe containment over hundreds of years.
 
Then consider the damage and expense of dealing with ONE meltdown [like the one at Chernobyl - STILL a radioactive wasteland and still costing millions per year in cleanup and containment costs] and then consider Japan's possible three simultaneous meltdowns...
