My husband received the TransSiberian Christmas album last year and it's wonderful.  I have always thought this was a great video.
 
The new trend for holiday decorating is to go w/ these high-tech computerized light displays.  They're really cool, but annoying.  One of our neighbors has his house done up this way and has the radio station that you tune to listen, but you can only get reception w/in about 200 feet of his house, so people pull up in to the cul-de-sac and sit there for the longest time watching and listening...even though I think he should have gotten permission from the HOA to set up his radio station sign at the park (right across from his house) where people could park safely and still watch the show, without blocking access or revving their engines late at night.
 
We have opted out of outside decorating this year, after all the vandalism at Halloween, we're just not going to risk the damage...but I continue to work on the inside of the house...

I just found a cranberry glass fruit bowl my aunt gave me, that I will fill w/ ornaments and I got the nativity set up yesterday...
 
Since it looks like we'll both be working the entire holiday season, the mood is very ambivalent about Christmas this year.
