There is no such thing as a "Democratic Socialist." Socialism is Socialism.
They try to add the word Democratic to soften the meaning.

When we attended our son's graduation at Great Lakes back in 2008, the one thing he asked for for lunch was Pizza Uno...
I had been making deep dish pizza at home in my cast iron, and he said, but Ma, you gotta try this, I'm told it's world famous...
We did...and I liked it, but I still like the crust of my homemade better.

We went to a steak house for dinner there too, I can't remember the name of it, but he and another sailor who would be shipping off to school together the next day (they normally get a leave, but the nukes had a new tech school session starting and they were being sent to Goose Creek SC immediately), joined us and boy did they load up!  LOL The wait staff was so wonderful, congratulated them and when we started to order, the manager asked them both...how much steak do you think you can handle?  My husband told the boys, you haven't lived till you've had a good Porterhouse.  Our son immediately said, yeah, but Dad, that's a $50 steak, I'm not letting you pay that kind of money and the manager said, what would you order then?  And our son said something like, well, that 10-12 whatever it was Ribeye sounds good.  And the manager said, how about 2 Porthouse, on the house?   And they got Porterhouse, baked spuds, a salad, fantastic garlic bread toasted, oh man, they had a ball...and the restaurant even gave them each cake to take back to the hotel for later.  It had a lasting impression as every year after our son graduated from tech school and was deployed around the country, he would regularly do a brisket or make a huge turkey dinner, and invite other sailors to join him...and when he would come home on leave between deployments, he would always bring at least one sailor to stay, who did not have family.

Chicago was a beautiful town back then, the Miracle Mile was spectacular at night, standing outside Wrigley field, it was magical.

Best hot dog I ever had was in O'Hare airport. It was a vienna beef hotdog slathered with all kinds of goodies and was amazing.

Looked up the brand to maybe order some but 24 count box was $189 before shipping! Fattest dog I ever saw. Huge and tender. Mouth drooling as we speak.

I`m a Democrat that worked shift work for 35 years and a seasonal job for 16 more. I had no idea that I was rich. That`s stupid even for you.
