Good stuff. This reminds me of a vid you posted last Fall, d2. Or at least that's when I discovered it, about the science of how not to succumb to hypothermia if that's the right term -- how to protect oneself from freezing to death whether in the wilderness or at home in blizzard conditions in a black out. It wasn't a video from Alton Brown and can't remember by who. But it was interesting. I got through about 3/4ths and meant to return for finale. Then lost track what board it was on.

Ingenious!  Do I now regret spending hundreds on a smoker?  no, no I don't...LOL

But his scientific approaches are incredible and I loved watching Good Eats...
