Gee, I'm actually starting to feel sorry for the Left.
They just lost ONE of their HUNDREDS of propaganda
platforms, giving the Right an advantage of ONE.

I tried to get outside this past weekend and start pruning trees, only to have my hedge trimmer break down.  I managed to get one section in front of the house done, but there's still a mucky mess of leaves, twigs, and pinecones to clean up...by hand of course because it's all embedded in the layers of decorative rock.  I got one tree cut down that is encroaching on the house and was planted, for some unknown reason, right next to the power box...tree roots and power boxes never mix well...
But, I need at least a week straight of warm, sunny weather...because we've been sunk into this fog bank since last Friday, and it's miserable.  So, I thought I would post a picture of what I want the weather to be like...and I'll dream...

LOL

Each morning this week I have got up, looked out of the window and can't see to the end of the front path, it is so foggy and also freezing.  It has taken to almost noon to wear off.  I actually prefer ran at this point!

Bring me some spring, too. I chipped away some ice snow on a garden bed to expose my creeping phlox to some sunshine...3 weeks covered solidly in ice and snow...and now another storm coming Friday to Saturday. I can't take much more shoveling.

How cold is it in Miami? It's so cold that 'falling iguanas' are forecast

17 days and counting them down.

we're at 11+ hours of daylight now.

first taste of spring tomorrow, with temps in the mid-60s.

will get the bike out for a (country) road trip.

and I promise to get going earlier on the garden this year.
