Thanks to you both, hoping all and their families are thinking about and giving thanks for the many blessings we do have in this country.

I even made my first homemade pumpkin pie and homemade whipped cream.  My son treated his crew to a dinner of home smoked turkey and smoked steaks...it was great seeing how table full of young sailors eating heartily.  He extends the invitation every year that he is not on deployment, and from what I understand, he just got back from a tour the night before Turkey day and still managed an entire 4 course meal...not saying he's a superman, but yea, he's pretty much a superman...LOL

Thank you all for the Thanksgiving wishes.  My son and myself went to our special friends where the husband is a gourmet cook and we came home with leftovers.  Takn your son is amazing!  There probably weren't any leftovers at his table!
