Going through a lot of changes

It took 3 days and my deck is finally finished being water and sand blasted and re-stained, but it's still up in the 90's here so I'm not rushing to sit out there.   There will be no bone chewing doggies out on it anymore either.  That will be on the grass.  I'm having my neighbors dogs for 4 days starting tomorrow and in September the family and their dogs will be up for a week or so while my son-in-law and son demolish my bathroom and build me a new one.  Daughter and I are escaping to the coast for a few days to get out of the construction zone.  It's been quite a year!

I hear ya, emily. Tomorrow we are having hardwood installed in 2 bedrooms so my house is a wreck. Then I plan to redo the kitchen. Last month I had some rooms painted and it was a wreck then.

I am dreading the deck job.  Right now, I'm just putting off as much as possible because of the lumber prices.  I still want my enclosed back porch done, I really want to move the water heater OUT of my house and into a separate outdoor closet or to the back porch (will require replumbing under the house though, as it's currently inside a false wall in my master closet), and we need a new roof on the shop.

So many projects, so little time till retirement and with WA state turning more and more to the dark side, still contemplating whether we sell everything and run away to another state, LOL.
