The eye came through just west of me which resulted in several thousand losing electrical power. Mine was not off long enough for me to lose my freezer foods. I thank God for watching over me and my oak trees.  Taylor county had mandatory evacuation due mainly to the potential of a high tide storm surge moving inland, which has happened before. Torrential rains of up to 9" in various locations caused water damage with yards, streets, & roads under water blocking access. I had water standing in my yard but it has drained off now. The Suwannee River is on a 20 ft projected rise to crest about a foot over flood stage at my location on Sunday. A few had trees down on their roofs & Columbia County, SE of me, had one tornado reported which took off a roof & the family's  water pump simply disappeared into space. Another tornado east of me in the Jacksonville area - two people were killed by falling trees, with some cars totaled by winds. Just north of there at the Naval Station across the Florida/Georgia line, mobile homes and many recreational vehicles were totaled.

Mother Nature is always in charge.  So very glad you came through it okay.  We always pray for anyone in a storm's path, you just never know how hard it will hit.

Very good to hear that you came through this dreadful storm ok, LadyE.  It must have been very uncomfortable and scary while it lasted.  Here's to better days ahead.
