Fattest junco ever

This little guy was perched there looking like a Christmas ham...LOL

I thought maybe he was just like the rest of us and suffering from the "covid 19" weight gain, but according to my birding group, it may actually signal salmonella, which has been prevalent in the west this winter due to a sick pine siskin migration from Canada.  I haven't found him laying anywhere, so, I'm going with the excess weight gain theory, LOL

Poor little chubby guy. At least he is alive. I found a dead finch today. :-(

He is a fatty!
My neighbor found a live bird in his microwave this week.  He said it fell down a vent pipe.  He had it in his hand and it flew away when he opened his hand up.  I looked in my microwave and couldn't see anywhere a bird or anythung else could access it.
