LOL, it's been that kind of year!

Don't forget to stand outside at the stroke of midnight on December 31st and yell JUMANJI.  We need to finish this stupid game and quick !!!!

Make sure you eat those black eye peas.  2020 was the first year I did not make any and look how it turned out.

Can't do black eyed peas, but will being making collards (if I can find them in the stores), lentils, and cornbread...I want to make cabbage rolls too, but the greens overload may be too much, LOL  So maybe just a couple pork chops instead.


And since donuts are out, I might make a low sugar bundt cake that has orange and pomegranate flavor, two more lucky foods...

And I will substitute Truvia for the sugar...I wish I had gluten-free flour, but the good stuff is not available locally and I'm not going to order the good brand (cup4cup) right now, I just don't use it enough anymore...baking used to be a passion, now it's an invitation for hubby to overeat and I'm trying desperately to get his weight down, LOL.

I will post a picture when it's done...I highly doubt mine will look that scrumptious either, but the flavor combinations sound yummmmmmm
