Caught sight of a bird at the bath.  We set our patio chairs up in near the maple tree, it was just so cool to sit in the shade last night and caught this little guy while we were playing with the dogs...also saw a butterfly.  He landed on my Catalpa tree, but fluttered away before I could get a picture...but it was a rare pleasure and I hope we see more.

You must be having the same kind of temps up there in Washington, takn as we are having here in the high desert.  We are up in the 90's today and getting ready to go out.  I just hope I don't come back to a lot of burned out plants at the end of this week.  Our little helper in the neighborhood is a great dog sitter but this is the first time she has taken care of the garden, so we will see.
