New in the garden today

I found the most striking asian lilies at Lowes, for $8 a piece.  Orange sensation...
So I pulled out the dying mound grasses that I had transplanted last year from another garden and put the lilies in...I think they will be a lovely contrast to the yellow coreopsis and this fall, if they are still blooming, they will really stand out w/ the red burning bush foliage.

I also repositioned what are left of my memorial crape myrtles...that's one little tiny guy off to the right in the first picture.  I hope the heathens who keep tearing up gardens in this neighborhood will leave them alone, this time.
 
Next project will be planting the reblooming lilacs and hubby found some gorgeous lemon cypress he would like to put on the patio as well.

Saw some just like that in my friend's yard yesterday...
 
and I told her she can have some of my hostas that bloom in late summer... her's bloom in early summer...but my thoughts are she gets what she wants and I get what I want...me..... what do I want?  someone to divide those darn hostas... they are definitely out of hand now... and I just killed those damn elephant leaves and yes they're back...I need a bobcat...lol

oh and emily told me how to post on this board... takn... with a folder... I'll try anything once or twice... I think I can do that...I'm so jealous I can't do it... it's driving me nutso...

washing lot today... both machines running at the same time... meaning no pressure to do anything else in this old house...and it's days like this I need another clothes line.... dogs are stinky and I have to keep there bedden clean and smelling nice... they like it and I love it...the smell of fabric softener (Cuddles) is wonderful...

Oh and I want to know what color is the stain on your fence... it's wonderful...it would go wonderful here...please answer this post takn... it's so important... it will bother me until you do....
