China has vowed to "fight till the end" in response to President Donald Trump's decision to slap a 20% tariff on all Chinese goods imports, intensifying the trade conflict.

In retaliation, China imposed tariffs of up to 15% on various American food products, granted about a dozen US companies increased export controls, and initiated legal proceedings at the World Trade Organization.
