I’m turning in scripts next month on an HBO non-fiction miniseries based on events in Texas, but I can’t and won’t ask female cast/crew to forgo civil liberties to film there. I just found out a local band that busks on the streets in Seattle, among the homeless drug addled assholes, will "donate" all its "tips" to an organization that provides "free rides" to women in Texas to get "treatment" for abortions in other states. Unfuckingbelievable...they are willing to drive women to other states to help them kill babies, rather than donate money to organizations that want to educate and help women LEARN HOW TO NOT GET PREGNANT IN THE FIRST FREAKIN' PLACE !!! One on tv was mother of 3 kids who would put her life at risk if she carried a 4th child to term. Her husband agreed and was at home watching the kids while she was in Colorado getting the procedure. So you're saying she likely ignored doctor's recommendations to NOT get pregnant again and neither she nor her husband took the steps to prevent further pregnancy? Really? I wanted more children too, but after 2 high risk pregnancies and a child who suffered a stroke at birth, my doctor said NO MORE, PLEASE...and my husband, God Bless him, chose to immediately have a vasectomy.
