All our cats have been inside/outside, last couple homes with kitty doors at least into the garage with bedding, food and water. And always welcome indoors when they want. Snuggling like any family member. Pet’s really are family.
Same with the dogs. Indoor/outdoor. Growing up we had our beloved dog. And when kitty came much later, they became suprisingly attached and she thought she was boss lol.
