Title: Should I thank you now or later...
Post by: luvtimes on 12 03, 14, 07:11:33:AM
cause on the 1st of January... us retired folks will get a 1.7 % increase in our annuity....I can wait....

health insurance increases but I found a way to kinda decrease it by a couple of dollars... it's called change....

I have to see what else they want to increase...surely taxes....(lying politicians)... we can survive the coming years... something to focus on no matter where you are....

gasoline has decreased in our parts of the world but don't you feel too happy about it... cause it's subject to change at a drop of a dime....or the first of the year... reasons...
you can make one up... they do...

Goal for the coming year is to save... save... and save some more....

life is fun without money.... or didn't you know that already....

buying happiness is not the key to life... but to enjoy life is to....

what?

I'll fill in the blank:

Stay in touch with good friends and family and reach out when they need you.

well I haven't got a heating (gas) bill in 3 months...

I thought that they were making a mistake... but they were not...and if they did... I ain't telling them ok....

What I was doing was leaving a credit on my account so I could defray the high cost here during the winter months...so I won't be getting a bill this month either...

been paying 350.00 a month for 4 months... thinking that it would cushion the 800.00 to 900.00 a month....and it has... with the window treatments... it brought the cost of heating down...

I should be relieved and I am... but there's more work to be down to bring that down to 100.00 a month... it's a work in progress...

I'm going to take the yearly amount of heating here and divide it by  12 and that's what I'll be paying on the norm monthly from now on...even in the summer months so I can keep a balance instead of the helter skelter mess I was in last year...

that's how I figured it....

my good neighbor says he pays only 100.00 a month for heating... and his house is the largest on the block...I think my house is next to the largest...but maybe it's the third... their another guy here with a really huge home... but he's on the PIP program...

the good neighbor may also be on the PIP program... I don't qualify.... (http://www.aesopsretreat.com/forum/richedit/smileys/YahooIM/102.gif)

and getting that 1.7% raise really don't help... ok...
