Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

Did anyone catch Downton Abbey last night - it was the finale of the second season?  I am really hooked on it and can't wait for Season 3 which I understand is being filmed at the moment.

It's on PBS or OPB Channel 10 here.  I think the public broadcasting system has the best to offer in English comedy and shows.

I just read an article on it the other day stating its popularity.  My niece down in Portland is addicted to the PBS British comedies...

I usually don't watch series of any kind, but I love Masterpiece Theater, and have watched every episode of "Downton Abbey", really enjoy the plot, the language, costuming and setting.  Interesting things in there too.  A husband can legally have a mistress, but adultery is one grounds for divorce, when and where divorce was hard to get.
The class structure and the things causing its break down are interesting.  Poor Lords going to American to find rich wives, and such.
The upstairs and downstairs people don't think much like I think...

Okay, now I'm curious and will have to check it out.

I wonder if it's on ON DEMAND?

The second season on live TV has just ended but I believe that you can get the whole first season on Netflix - we have Netflix streamed in to the TV for 7.99 a month and it is unlimited in what you want to watch.  They have all kinds of British movies and British TV series on there.  I think it is quite easy to join and it is streamed in through the computer.

The third season of Downton Abbey is being filmed in the UK now.

So Shirley Maclaine has arrived on the set for the shooting of the third season of Downton Abbey and will be shaking things up as the dowager American mother of Lady Grantham.   Can't wait!

Also shows what a stage "Downton Abbey" is to atract such a star.

Right Don, I hope we won't have to wait too long for the third series to begin.

Do you also watch "Doc Martin" on the PBS station?  That is an unusual series about a general practitioner set in a small town in Cornwall in the south west of England.  It is quite funny and he is such an uptight man.

I like Dr. Martin very much, but don't watch it religiously as I have "Downton Abbey". I have always enjoyed the British films on PBS.  I've bee a long time "Masterpiece Theater" fan
