He cared about them plenty! 

Obama cared about getting jobs going every way imaginable but the Republicans in Congress held those jobs hostage to their beloved deregulation -- for one thing -- so that they could rip off us real human beings through corportations -- who are now deemed as people, but  with more rights than people! 

And rip us off again through banks -- who would once more grow too big to fail and then use all of us as a cushion to save their greedy *asses and their big fat bonus checks -- and kill us all by allowing poisoning of the water we drink and air we breathe!

Send the Republican extortionists to the unemployment line -- not that they all don't already have cushy jobs for themselves lined up on K-Street!

You have really got your ideas about this so hosed, upside down, inside out and backwards, TOP, hard to believe since you are one of the more intelligent righties on these boards.

Actually, his and Congress's first response was always to find ways to extend benefits...not make it easier for business and industry to thrive and grow and regain footing...
