Just how heavy a 7 foot tree can be...and trying to unfold it all, make sure all the lights are working...whew...

But, it's set up and ready for Thing 1 to start decorating...
I need to make a trip to the craft store to get new winter floral garland...mine has seen better days...I like to decorate the stairway railing with it. 
 
I also got the bulk of the online gift ordering done...just have to confirm a couple of addresses and I will be done shopping for extended family.  Then I tackle the cards...I would like to have them done so that when we get back from Leavenworth I can print up a bunch of family pics to include.
 
Now I can relax for a minute while waiting for a load of laundry to finish and I'll get the boys some dinner started...leftover Costco chicken made into a veggie pasta casserole...
 
Not nearly as yummy or exciting as cookies, but it will have to do.

They are very heavy. Especially when you have to drag it up the steps from the basement.
