didnt put my bird feeders out this year...too many varmint climbing around and didn't want to encourage them to stay...

We have 3 feeders up and the aerial combat has been impressive! We have a bunch of them this year (hummingbirds), all pigging out like mad. Maybe they saw the woolly worms?

Do you use premix nectar or make your own?
 
I just boil one cup sugar and three cups water, cool it completely and I clean my feeders every 3 or 4 days...

We get the liquid concentrate and mix with water. That way we can mix a bunch and keep it in the fridge for refills as needed.

I hate making the sugar mix so I buy the red stuff ready to go. I have about 4-5 birds.
