American Idol this week

Happened to catch some of it and this was probably the most tear jerking ever.   This young man has a great voice and he sang to his very disabled fiancee who he is helping to care for after a tragic car accident.   I hope he makes it to the finals - can't help being part of the sympathy vote which he is going to get, no matter what.

Haven't you noticed that each season has its tear jerk story? I think its by design to make sure at least one tear jerk gets into the season. If they can get two, that's all the merrier. It brings in the viewers.
