and it's shaping up for the finale to be a real barn burner...
 
I loved it...!  Although the gratuitous veiled nude scene w/ Harry and Hermoine was completely unnecessary!

This was part 1 of the 7th book...the last in the series...

Wow - I really did lose track.  I started the grandkids off with the first Harry Potter books which I had to read to them as they were too little to read themselves and they were hooked right from the start.  Now they still get the books but get the DVD's too.  J.K. Rowling is the richest woman in the U.K. - even surpassed the Queen and I think she is the smartest too!  What a rags to riches story!

We also started out reading the books together...even though the boys could read them on their own, we felt reading them as a family, because of the genre, could allay any fears the boys might have.  They are both voracious readers and have each read them on their own now at least 4 times.
 
I don't care what anyone says about the "evil" of Harry Potter, it has created far more readers than any other book series in history.  The stories are wonderful...I have enjoyed them all...

The nude scene feels a little awkward for me but it's okay. It was under 5 seconds I guess. Too many parental uproar and everyone's abuzz.
