The hats and whole day was so exhilarating!!! to see on the big screen.
The older I get the more I literally get goosebumps watching this crowning glory red~roses event. I saw the call out numbers last week and the girl who placed them had the most beautiful traditional Kentucky dress.

A japanese Bloodgood Maple, thanks Sunshine! They are both just gorgeous and can see why you miss that red stunner. Wonder what she looks like now, hope doing well.

Couldn't find a photo yet of full view of dress but it was long(er) with ruffles. Didn't realize it's Miss Kentucky who places the post numbers when called, probably another nice traditional touch.
