50 ain't bad

I know that some have exceeded the age of 50 and good for you...
 
You and I have made it and everybody can't say that....
 
Yesterday, while with my friends here they were talking about the end is near and by 2012 the world is going to spin out of control.... how the North will be the South and the melting of the Northpole is going to drown us all....

Authority to them was Ventura, the previous politician in Minnesota or some place like that, he was a wrestler at one time now an author... Goodness....
 
I told them that I don't worry about things like that but only that I have faith in God Jehovah and he will keep us that believe in his hands no matter what the world goes through...
 
Little to say, my visit was short lived and maybe a new appreciation for 50 ok...plus....lol
to enjoy what we have now is what keeps me sound, I think....

by 2012 the world is going to spin out of control....   the only thing I dread is the two years of negative campaigning starting in Jan, why can't we shorten the time like Canada?
The the minimum length of a campaign is 36 days and the longest campaign lasted 74 days (back in 1926!).

My husband hit 50 this year...I can't say that it slowed him down a bit...maybe he's a bit more stubborn, but that's about it.

I am 61 and it shocks everyone that meets me........young for my age.......hee hee......Well, if the world spins out of control in a few years, at least, we will not be here for the REAL misery when chocolate is $11 a candy bar as predicted........NOW THAT is HORROR..............

I took one of the real age tests and it said I was 45...56 is just a number.

PS....nothing happens in 2012 except we elect a new president. The world won't end. That's a bunch of baloney. The calendar stopped because the ran out of room.

At 50 you really start to down down down, you don't think so but you can't do some of the things you use to do as fast and remember it never gets better
