With all the various amnesties, protest marches, changes in legislation to ensure illegals have healthcare, educations, jobs...there is but one thing that actually works to protect our country and ensure propriety...

If Mr. Obama wanted to gain much needed support from many of his detractors, he would, by executive order, make E-verify mandatory and permanent for EVERY employer in this country !!!
 
It starts with respect and adherence to the law...then as we sort out the riff raff and start taking away the carrot, holding people accountable, you would see a major shift...

Currently, US law requires that anyone seeking medical attention be given it, regardless of ability to pay or legal status.  Under the new healthcare act, illegals will not be required to have insurance, like we are as citizens, but they will still be given access to all healthcare...
 
And currently, some states, like WA, offer medicaid, low cost insurance and free extensive healthcare to illegals, without proof of residency, citizenship or legal status.  The loopholes used by many illegals in this country are due to their "anchor babies"...
 
It's not moot at all, it's all part and parcel to the further decline of this nation...
