Stopped at our local  Mickey D  for a burger and fries and coke the order totaled $11.87 gave the young man a $20.00 bill he stood there looked at me and said again your order is $11.87 I asked him can't you take it out of the $20.00 I gave you? He had to go get someone else to ring it up and give my change, then he said I'll bring your order to the table, and I thought to myself if he can find the table!

Public education is not the problem, but the way the schools have performed the past 3 years is-graduating kids who haven't completed standard curriculums because, well covid...and of course, if parents don't care enough to stay involved in their children's education, they are doomed to fail.  Both my children were public school educated, they both have genius level IQs, my older son has 3 engineering degrees, and my younger son works in the IT/digital graphics industry.  But we remained involved in their educations from start to finish, and watched their progress, helped them when they struggled, and gave them incentives to do their best.

Perhaps this young man had developmental issues, or perhaps was just a lazy POS...who knows.  But Mickey'ds loves to hear negative stories about their personnel, as they continue to move closer and closer to all self-serving kiosks and digital AI technology for customer service.

Teachers only do as much as is required not to be fired!

Any teacher who proves superior to the others will be hounded until they quit!
