Shopping in the modern age...

Frustrating...

When you search for something like throw pillows and there are thousands of options online but when you try to filter the results, you get anything but what you are looking for...

And trying to physically shop for something like that...?  Not even a selection worthy of spending the money on.  Junk, all junk these days.

So many businesses in our area shut down, and major "department" stores like JC Penney, Macy's, Sears, all gone.  Our Kohl's is a shadow of its former self.  I am now considering finding material at Hobby Lobby or Joanne's and hiring someone to make custom pillows, which will cost an arm and a leg, but I know what I want, and I hate to buy junk that won't last.

It's not the satisfying shopping spree we were used to having any more.  So many businesses shutting down. Portland just closed all of it's Walmart stores.  Shoplifting has become an increasing problem.  More and more people are shopping at home on Amazon or other online businesses.  There's nothing like being able to touch and compare what you are thinking of purchasing and it's sad.

Shopping sucks anymore.  Kohl's has been a hot mess since the pandemic started and have later opening hours so I quit going there. Walmart sucks for clothing and Target is even worse unless you are a teeny bopper size. Not my taste in clothing there.  I use Amazon all the time now.  Wally World for food.
