When you live in a dark cellar on the computer 24/7 you have no clue on reality or actually experience the present day changes.

Just left Caifornia where I stayed for over a month.  My daughter just got her natural gas bll in for the month - it was $700.00 and she was in shock.  I was a bit shocked when the airline charged me $70.00 to stow a couple of medium bags - should have carried them on board.  Prices were over the top everywhere.  Gov. Gruesome is working on stack housing and a train running through the heart of the town where I stayed.  I'm sure he and his ilk are still enjoying America.

we here in SC have a climate similiar in temp to California.   My electric bill runs about $175 a month and that's for an all electric home.   Maybe your daughter should get a new place to live if she doesn't like the cost of natural gas. 

We also have mass transit trains around here and everyone who lives along the train lines is pretty happy with them and the development they've generated.
