republic, has worked on the young educated (not really educated) voters if they were educated then they wouldn't believe a damn thing democrats tell them! It's their ignorance and lack of understanding and seeing the true face of the democrat party will turn America into another third world shithole.

To the point, the commies did subvert our founder's design for democracy in the 17th amendment in the genesis of the "progressive" era.  It's why the dense cities have such a disproportionate pull in the Senate, when before that, the legislatures of the states voted for senators.

Our Founding Fathers decided to establish us as a Representative Republic.

Locally, we elect a Representative to handle our affairs for us at the Legislature/Congress and Electoral College.

This has worked well for us for over 246 years.
