Reaction to Texas’ law in the sports realm has already gained some traction, too.

More than 56,000 Americans signed a petition earlier this month in favor of moving the 2023 NCAA women’s basketball Final Four out of Dallas
and Texas in response to the restrictions on abortion.

The NCAA declined to comment last week.
