Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

We were supposed to get our butts kicked by Ida but she went more left and missed us other than rain. Today the weather is gorgeous...70's and cool wind.

You were truly blessed Sunshine. Thoughts about those people who were hit so hard and left with no drinking water, no food, no way to flush a toilet - if they even have one, no way to shelter themselves, no fuel, no power, no communication services, no medical resources, loved ones lost, all these things and more leaving them seemingly in a state of long time hopelessness. Widespread diseases will soon be rampant and people cannot last very long under those conditions. Keeping them in my prayers is all that I am able to do while wishing there was more that I could do.

Glad it missed you.

I've been watching some videos of the storms, wild is the word of the day!

I was a little incensed by the fact that our news focused more on NYC and the NE than the devastated areas of the south...

Those people just cannot catch a break!

I thought about you Sun and hoped you would be ok.  As if the Covid situation isn't enough Ida came in with a vengeance and it was shocking watching the newsreel footage.  They actually were filming as a large roof was raised up and blew off of a house in entirety. Those poor people!  I always said I wouldn't want to live in an area that could suffer the intensity of a major hurricane but at least they are predictable and you get fair warning and here am I living in an area where earthquakes could happen and there are no warnings - they just happen.  We went through 2 major earthquakes in the San Fernando Valley, California in past years and we lost a lot.  Now we hear about the major fault line in the Pacific running up the coast from northern California to Washington State - its called The Cascadia subduction zone - the predictions of damage are dire but the only warnings we get are that it is overdue and could happen any time.  I try not to think about it.

Tornado touched down 2 blocks from my BIL...their house was fine but what a mess down the street. That is lucky.
