We finally got some measurable rain!

We are finally getting it too.  It's been a long time coming. My son-in-law set up my sprinkler system to the internet and it waters when needed - very clever!  It's been watering every day practically and the water bill is sky high.  The system is called b-hyve and it's connected to my cell phone and I can see the daily schedule of when the sprinklers go on as needed.  I don't like to mess with it but I'm so glad we're finally getting some rain and I'm hoping the system is smart enough to know it won't be needed for a day or two.

Another heatwave is coming, starting tomorrow.  Supposed to last at least 2 days.  Predicting triple digits.

Upper 90's all week here with heat insex to 110. What a sucky week. That tropical storm will hopefully break the heat wave here on Sunday.
