Earth day on Thursday

All these trees were planted  for Earth Day in previous years. The green one goes in Friday....weather is going to suck big time tomorrow. 30's and windy.  Stormy today.

I just planted red flowering current and madrone.  Earth day usually means picking up garbage along the road.  I used to do it every year in our old neighborhood and fill a 33 gallon trash and people were clueless...they acted like I was doing something extraordinary...all I could do was shake my head and ask every year that the HOA try to organize an Earth day clean up...which even though I volunteered every year to help, they never did crap.

So tomorrow, if my back is better, I'll be out weeding and cutting again and cleaning up more trash along the road.
