We don't know enough about this to make an informed decision. We don't know if there is something wrong with this child (other than the obvious) that causes him to act this way. We don't know why he is being brought to the doctor. He could have mental issues and if so, corporal punishment won't help. We don't know if this kid sees his mother being slapped around by his father and thinks she deserves to be beaten. There is just too much we don't know. It's obvious the mother is overwhelmed and cannot handle the child. I felt badly for her.
