As for myself, I am on to the Johny-come-latelys when they heretofore were McCain and Bushido neocons.  I have been around plenty long enough to see right through them.  I suspect there are many others who do too.  The Tea Party movement, in part, grew as a result of a great distrust of the Establishment and its media with its talking heads and antics.
 
By the way, did you watch that silly lady who said that gold is in a bubble?  She could not be more wrong.  People have been saying gold is in a bubble for the last five years and they were wrong, and they are still wrong.  Meanwhile they are missing the boat and they will not be buying gold until it's at the top.  We will  know when gold is in a bubble when all the talking heads are quoting the price at the start of their shows every day.  We are not anywhere near to that point yet.  Deflation, or inflation, gold and gold stocks are rocketing to the moon for at least a few more years.  You heard it here.  Bookmark it.  Oh sure, it will have its down days like when everything fell in 2008.  But, now, when you look at the long term chart, its as if 2008 never happened.  You can trace a continuous line right through that period.  And of course, why not?  Commodities, gold being the best behaved commodity, are in a secular bull cycle which historically lasts 17 years on average.  This one began in 2000.
