I've been knitting hats like crazy - every night as we watch TV.  The family all love them and as I get compliments from people like our postal lady when I'm wearing one - I spread them around.  She was delivering the mail in the one I made her this morning.  It has been so cold, dark and miserable this month they really help to keep our heads warm.

I am all thumbs when it comes to knitting and crocheting. 

They are lovely! I am betting local shelters would truly appreciate such things...and local schools often collect hats and mittens for kids, as they seem to always be losing them.
