That the hand surgery went well takn and that you're managing with the extra load that Christmas puts on you, and that you are recovering, sun, from your neck surgery and not overdoing it.  It's hard enough this time of the year anyway with so much on our plates.  My husband grumbled about coming Christmas shopping for just an hour (my time limit) to pick out a shirt that our son-in-law would like.  Forget the baking, Christmas cards to write and all the other gifts to purchase.  Most men don't do that!

I write 4 Christmas cards....then I buy a  box of cards and try to send mom one very day in the nursing home. She has Alzheimer's....poor thing.

I had my pre-op...surgery is not until the 26th...I knew doing it before the holiday would skewer me too much for holiday prep.

Good for you waiting until after Christmas! Best wishes all go well and it will be worth it! It's been 23 years for me since I had mine done and has not come back.

Glad we're all in good shape for the moment. 

My almost 12 year old teddy bear wishes you a very Merry Christmas and the house is dancing with Christmas trees now.

Surgery went well...it took longer to prep and get under than the actual surgery took.  The last thing I remember was seeing my surgeon sitting at a table with her back to me, adjusting the awesome soft jazz that filled the room.  then I was awake and having apple juice and animal crackers, LOL.

Seriously, very little pain, I've only had a couple doses of ibuprofen since I left the hospital.  The hardest thing is typing one handed and using the mouse left handed...

So glad to hear that takn.  Don't be tempted to do anything strenuous.  Relax and heal fast.

Glad you are getting better taken. The prep seems to take a couple hours. I had plain old saltines and cranberry juice.
