I can tell you that if you decide to go, you have to book a hotel like the year before!  We've been able to get a hotel as late as March, but it's sketchy...or you have to drive to Wenatchee to find one.  There are a lot of homes/vacation rentals, they are pricey.  The best option we had one year was a condo above one of the shops...it was great, but up 3 flights of stairs, in the alley, and parking sucked! 

Still, I would do it all again because the moment is so magical it's beyond words, especially if there's snow.

I haven't finished my entry in the local milk company box decorating contest, finished decorating the truck for the Christmas parade, finished gifts for the grandbabies, finished putting up all the lights...

I'm sunk...

I have to get everything done ASAP as we're doing an early Christmas with our youngest and roommate this coming weekend, I have my pre-op this week, surgery the day after Christmas...ugh...

We have our daughter with us until Wednesday and every day we are out with friends or doing Christmas shopping together.  This weekend we went to our local huge Christmas bazaar loaded with arts and crafts among other fun stuff.  A lot of our daughter's girl friends now reside in Oregon and she is busy re-connecting.  Her husband is loaded with work and won't be coming up with her until early in the New Year and her youngest grandson decided to move back home with his cat so she was glad to escape and have a little break which I am always ready for.  I'm also behind on baking!

Sorry to hear you have to undergo surgery takn and will pray for you that it all goes well.

It's my first carpal tunnel surgery.  I need both hands done, but the right is in real bad shape, according to the doctors.  It was discovered during a trip to the neurologist who was testing for MS...which thankfully I don't appear to have.

The hand surgeon will only do one at a time, so one this year, one next year...LOL

I had both hands done 3 weeks apart and worked in a kitchen back in 1996. The recovery is not as bad as you might think. Prayers and good luck to you.

I had surgery on my neck yesterday, had a growth at the base of the spine. Feeling good today but sore when I touch it.
