I have a large elf too...and also a smaller one that I will be using as part of my annual milkbox display for the milkman...a naughty elf to say the least.  LOL

Yes.  I grew up with milk delivery and for the life of me, I don't know why it took us so long to get back to it.  Free delivery, the cost is comparable to the stores and I don't have to drive into town to get it.  Since we keep the freezer stocked, getting fresh eggs, milk, cheese, and yogurt, is really all that I need on a regular basis.

That reminds me of England - we always had milk delivered in glass bottles, but I could never drink it because of my asthma.

The dairy we use is called Smith Brothers Farms.  In a pinch, my neighbor across the street gives us eggs from their coop, but even they get their milk and other dairy products from SBF now...so much more convenient living out here in the boonies...LOL
