Finally finished

The new roof has turned out well.  Also all the new siding around the dormer windows.  We had to stay around and we parked all the vehicles in our neighbor's driveway which was handy as they took a trip to Disneyland.  Trouble was they sent us a text late Saturday evening  to say they had decided to come back early and would arrive around mid-night.  You should have seen us all relaxed in front of a movie, then jumping up and moving our vehicles all around the cul-de-sac in the dark.  With intermittent rain it wasn't just a 2 day job anymore and they didn't complete it until yesterday, and even came back today to correct a piece of siding.

The banging and thumping caused me to end up with a headache and we were worried that Hannah would be frantic as she doesn't like the nail guns, but we kept her happy on her calming hemp doggie chews and a blanket wrap.  She turned into a camel as she did not want to go out for a pee all day and was finally persuaded to go out on the lead and run down to the vacant lot two doors down, away from it all.  Overall we are really happy with the way it has turned out and when the heavy rains come we won't have to worry about having an older roof and leaks.

Do a double check for fallen nails. It looks beautiful!

Thanks, we are still picking up nails and staples, even though we all went over the surrounding surface tons of times with the huge magnet tool.  They are so hard to see.  Don't want to get them in Hannah's paws or our tires.
