Another project...

This one is taking a lot more time than I anticipated.  I have all the rocks I need, it's just toting them from other areas of the property that's taking so much time.

Back story- We have the shrubs planted along the road, but the area gets overgrown with weeds and blackberry starts often...so we mow.  But we can't mow the slope in front due to the road gravel and rocks so I decided to weed the entire area, put down landscape fabric and now I'm filling in with rocks...big rocks, little rocks, all kinds of rocks.  I can use the little truck to get down to the bottom with a load, but then I have to either hand place the large rocks, and carefully pour buckets of small rocks...I also fill the wheelbarrow with rocks from the area just above this.  I started on Saturday and took the picture about halfway through the weeding...where you see the weeds, that's how thick it was the entire length of the area...it will be great when it's done, will be good erosion control and look better and I can then just spray Roundup each Spring, in the ditch area without fear of getting near my plants.

I know that is HARD work! Been there done that in the ditch.

That's a lot of work, but well done!  Wear a mask when you're spraying Round-Up.
