The Pastors say that the POS has views that are totally out of line with what Americans should have and promote. He is much
   too far from the reality of what America is like and it's hurting the progress of African-Americans.

The Coalition of African-American Pastors says that Kaepernick's thoughts — including those on the flag
shoe design — are too far on the fringe for a company like Nike.

The group issued a blistering statement condemning Kaepernick's behaviors, adding that the activist
represents "radical anti-American sentiment."

Coalition of African American Pastors (CAAP) is an African-American civil rights and social-conservative non-profit organization. They advocate for religion in public life and against abortion and same-sex marriage

In July 2012, the group traveled to Houston, Texas in protest of the NAACP's decision to endorse same-sex marriage.[3] Later the same year, they spoke out in opposition to Barack Obama for his support of same-sex marriage and issued a petition against same-sex marriage which garnered over 4,000 signers.

On June 6, 2013 they condemned the Supreme Court's decision striking down the Defense of Marriage Act.


February 2014, the group proposed impeaching Eric Holder for his support of same-sex marriage. Later the same year they announced the formation of RISE movement.

February 2015, the group called for Justices Elena Kagan and Ruth Bader Ginsburg to recuse themselves from a case surrounding the state-level gay marriage bans.

While technically Coalition of African American Pastors (CAAP) is a coalition of black pastors, it’s not actually representative of anybody except the few radicals who’ve joined it.

When CAAP had the gall to demand a meeting with the President two weeks ago, it admitted that it does not speak for any denomination, including the African Methodist Episcopal Church and Church of God in Christ. The group’s only purpose since its founding has been to attack marriage equality, and only since partnering with NOM has its anti-gay tantrums received any legitimate media attention. Unsurprisingly, in the vein of all of NOM’s failed online campaigns, CAAP’s 100000 Signatures 4 Marriage campaign has garnered a full 46 Likes on Facebook.
