Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

How far are you from the Ridgecrest area?

My brother and his family are about 90 miles away and said the shaking and rolling was significant, even for them.

In a straight line about 100 or 125 miles.  Em's daughter is closer than I,  I'm even on the otherwise of the San Andreas fault from this one.  The San Andreas is the only one I fear.
It was the worst shake and the oddest one I have ever felt.
I even felt a couple of the after shocks last night.
Couple of my nieces live South of me in San Diego County, felt the one yesterday, they didn't even feel the one on the Fourth.
No damage near me.  Some swimming Pools slopping around and losing some water.

Ridgecrest isn't a thickly populated area, much of it is China Lake Naval Station, almost empty.
An Uncle lived and worked out there from WW II till the 90s.  The cities have grown since them, but not as much as desert areas closer to LA.
If this had happened closer to LA it would have been much worse.

Yes our daughter felt the rolling around and even our son in Las Vegas felt it - but only slightly.  Pacifica, too, felt the rolling.  It was very widespread.

I just hope we don't get the predicted Cascadia Subduction Zone quake which is out in the ocean and runs all the way up the west coast.  They are predicting a 9 when it goes and that is about 700 times more powerful than this present one.

One big tsunami might follow that.  There was a big quake in the ocean near Prince Rupert, BC on the Fourth as well.  It got lost in the Ridgecrest news.  Not many people living up there.
Though there is a geological record of tsunamis reaching above Terrace, BC.  Two of my favorite towns up there.

We have family in Laguna Hills, pools were splashing there too.

Hope everyone out there stays safe.
