Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength

They're ripening faster than I can pick them.  This time I have a little help.  Her name is Millie and she squeezes through a mouse hole in the fence as soon as she hears me at the blueberry bushes.  She has a loud motor and rubs between my legs, puts her paw in the bowl and tries to bat the berries off the bush.  Millie is my neighbor's youngest cat and as soon as she hears Hannah bark trying to get out, she takes off in a flash.  I think she could outrun Hannah any day but I don't want to give Hannah any chances to chase her.

Millie actually got a little bit too playful and friendly and surprised me by jumping on my back.  That I'm discouraging but she really is a cute little rascal.

Lol have always loved your story writing!! You've got such a knack.
Yes a loud motor : ` ]  Can gou believe how adorable that Millie is!!! So sweet it comes when it hears you.

Thankfully I've experienced the precious back jump heehee. Pure playing. Snacks don't hurt too.

She only tried the blueberries one time and they are definitely not to her liking.

Our grandpuppy Rowan absolutely loves blueberries!  The cats here just roll them around and squish them.

I still haven't found the blueberry bushes I want...I need a Jubilee, a Patriot, and a Toro for the best mix of sweet, tart, and huge...LOL

Even those berries, make some scones (I use your scone recipe for mine and they turn out fantastic), make a buckle, make some pancakes, toss them in yogurt, oh I could go on and on and on...

Thanks for the photos, she's quite a cutie!

i have 5 different blueberry bushes, they were there when we bought the house.  One of them has not ripened yet, it is loaded and the berries are much larger.  They are the best.  The smaller berries ripened first and there is another bush that is bigger also, but not quite so big as my favorite.  I wish I knew what they were.  Hannah loves blueberries and  I have to watch her as she eats whatever is low and the green ones too  My mother told me that if I ever ate unripened fruit I would get the "colly wobbles".  I told that one to the kids next door when I was giving them blueberries and they loved it!  Has anyone heard of that expression?
