Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

...heavy price increases beginning this holiday weekend.

the news was just reporting that a disease killing pigs in China is expected to cause prices here in the US to rise considerably due to a pork shortage. My question would be, why inthe hell would you buy pork that came from China?

No matter where the pork comes from the prices will be the same.  Plus, do you really know where your pork come from?  Most do not.

Under current USDA rules, multinational companies can sell meat raised and slaughtered abroad with a “Product of USA” label alongside truly domestic products raised by U.S. ranchers.

.
MzBiz China owns one of the biggest USA Pig Farms in North Carolina. They are probably send all the pork they can produce to China creating a shortage in the USA. Chicken disease and how chickens are raised has raised chicken prices dramatically since the first of the year. The White House has kept the inflation of food prices quite because tRump doesn't want to raise interest rates.

Again, why would you be buying foreign pork?

Thank you Jigsaw, for the most comprehensive and correct response.  And, BTW, yes, I know where our pork comes from.  We only buy locally and regionally raised beef, pork, and chicken.

If you're buying from the local grocery, read every label, ask the butcher behind the counter, where does the meat originate from?  In this nation, we have the ability to raise what we need, know your sources...

Why would you buy pork?

It’s been shown that eating pork or meat brings disease to the body!

My MD and my ND both said that I shouldnt eat it but eat the healthier choices

I also try to avoid buying any products from China takn!

ICYMI:

Fact: The same week your clueless Dear Leader trump announced sweeping increases on tariffs against Chinese goods, Chinese buyers dropped orders for 3,247 metric tonnes of US pork--the biggest cancellation in more than a year.

Fact: The cancellation came during the week [that] ended [on] May 9, a blow to the $6.5 billion export market for US pork, vital to the burgeoning US meat market.

Fact: Prior to your Dear Leader trump's inane trade war, China and Hong Kong combined were the second largest export market for US pork.

(Bottom line: Your lamebrained Dear Leader trump's idiotic trade war with China hurts people in the US more than it hurts people in China.)
