The Danger of a Liberal Run Education System

How do we make the educational system work?

1) We require every child to graduate High School or obtain college admission before they can
legally be declared an adult!

2) Until that child is legally declared an adult his parents are wholly responsible for him.
Faced with the prospect of having a 40 year old child living in the basement sucking up their
retirement savings. Even the worst parents will place great emphasis on student achievement.

3) Upon graduating the 5th grade students will be told what they courses they must take to graduate.
The state will make all courses available year round in person and online to all students.
Students who hate school could then aggressively take all the courses needed to graduate as
quickly as possible while the athletes and social butterflies could take their time.

4) Sync graduation requirements with the educational admissions requirements of the nations top ten
percent of colleges and universities.

5) Offer bonuses to teachers who have more than the average number of students graduating early.

6) Fire any teacher who has no students graduating early.

7) Offer full tuition payments to any student entering college before the age 18.

8) Make the position of principal in any public school an elective office, using those elected
principals to staff local and state school boards with all meetings publicly held online!
This will streamline educational oversight and reduce management costs!

9) Instead of rewarding problem students with suspension or expulsion add more requirements for
them to graduate! Faced with the prospect of greater time in school misbehavior will decrease
dramatically!

This would encourage an aggressive attitude in students making the educational system extremely
efficient and produce a generation of highly effective and productive adults!

Any state, county or city that adopted this would become a magnet for high tech industry!
