Our morning started out dreary, but by noon, the sun was shining and I managed to finish clearing ONE additional chunk of blackberry hell...LOL

This is at the top end of our property, near our east driveway.  Now I can define a path and want to put rhodies and azaleas in.  I also have paper birch waiting that will look pretty among the pines...that little tree in the foreground is a golden smoke tree that I planted last year.

You really are making a lovely area to enjoy, takn.  Such fun to see your progress.

We went to our close friends for Easter dinner and she outdid herself this year.  Her Easter cookies took hours to decorate and each one was different.  To say she is artistic is an understatement.  My fridge is covered with the cute magnets she makes.  She had the lamb baking tin from her mother and it is very old but she gets it out at Easter and this year it contained a lovely carrot cake with lemon flavored frosting.

Carrot cake is my favorite!

That is so fun, and the cookies look too pretty to eat...but I'd be willing to give it a go, LOL.

Emily...I have an iron lamb mould my great grandma gave my mom and now I have it. We put jelly beans in the green coconut. 

One of these days....looks just like yours.
She did a fantastic job decorating those cookies.
