Neil requested the IRS to provide Trump's returns for none of those so-called concerns.  The reason it gave to the IRS is that the committee must have the tax returns in order to examine how the IRS audits presidents, in general.   And that's because that's the only legitimate excuse possible.   All of sudden the committee wants to know how the IRS audits presidents, and, surprise, they are only interested in one president's returns in order to learn how the IRS audits presidents.   How is looking at a return going to inform anyone how the IRS audits presidents, anyhow?  What a bunch of slim balls.
