Capitalism has a bloody history. And there is no slippery slope from western "soft socialism" to communism. None. Nowhere has that happened.

As for abusing the power of who gets what, none are as bad as leaving that decision to the rich. They of course make themselves richer and everyone else poorer. At least with government the masses have a chance at a fair deal. There is no chance with dog eat dog pure capitalism. The masses are doomed with that.
